Following is a look at area playoff action:
Pawhuska Lady Huskies Brooklyn Miles dropped a stunning 46 points - nine from the 3-point line - in their 65-46 win over Caney Valley on Tuesday in Pawhuska. Miles, just a sophomore, also gained her 1,000 career point milestone during the Class 2A regional playoff game.
"That was one of the best performances I’ve ever seen," said Lady Huskies head coach David Lampton. "Caney Valley has a good team and Deric Longan does a good job coaching them."
Caney Valley's Presley Smith poured in 20 points, four of which were three-pointers, for the Trojans. Caney Valley stayed close in the opening quarter, 18-13, however Pawhuska began to pull away in the second, scoring 28 points and going into halftime up 46-24. Harper Watts scored seven points for Caney Valley, followed by Abby Daigle, Khloe Crawford and Roxy Hawkins with four each.
Pawhuska scorers included Madison Reynolds (6), Mylee Jensen (3), and Peyton Henley (2). Preslee Long and Emillie Curry added four each. Pawhuska defeated Fairland 52-26 last Friday for the Class 2A district championship in Fairland, while Caney Valley defeated Nowata 67-37 in Ramona for their Class 2A district championship.
The Lady Trojans (23-3, 17) will take on Oklahoma Bible at 6 p.m. on Friday in Tonkawa. Pawhuska (20-5, 12) will take on Fairview at 6 p.m. on Saturday in Tonkawa.

The Huskies continue their playoff journey with a 62-35 win over Caney Valley Thursday in Pawhuska.
The Trojans were down by only seven points at halftime, but had trouble finding the basket in the second half.
Pawhuska’s Dax Godsey led all scoring with 18 points. Preston Gipson was Caney Valley's high scorer with 11 points. Pawhuska travels to Tonkawa at 2:30 p.m. Friday in a must-win game against Fairview. Caney Valley ended their season at 17-9.

Girls: Caney Valley 67, Nowata 37
The Caney Valley Lady Trojans won the Class 2A district championship over Nowata 67-37 last Friday in Nowata. Caney Valley controlled the game, going into halftime up by 15 points. Harper Watts scored 20 points for the Lady Trojans, including going 8-for-8 at the free throw line
Other Lady Trojans scorers included: Khloe Crawford (15), Adesta Henry (10), Presley Smith (10), Sydni Brown (6), Abby Daigle (3), Faith Davis (2), and Roxy Hawkins (1). Kaylee Bashford scored 16 points for Nowata, followed by Jalyn Trotter and Maddie Smith with eight each. Lyrique Walker added three and Hailey Gillman had two points.
Fairland defeated Nowata 55-36 on Thursday in Pawhuska. Next up, the Lady Ironmen face Hooker on Friday at 1 p.m. in Tonkawa in an elimination game.

The Nowata Ironmen won their Class 2A district title over Caney Valley, 58-52, last Friday in Nowata. On Tuesday, Fairland defeated Nowata 63-47 in regional action in Pawhuska. Next up, Nowata faces Tonkawa at 7:30 p.m. on Friday in Tonkawa in an elimination game.

The Dewey Bulldoggers and Lady Bulldoggers both picked up Class 3A district titles with wins over Sequoyah (Claremore) last Friday in Dewey, moving on to regional semifinal action in Adair on Tuesday, where both teams fell to Adair.

Girls: Wyandotte 63, Dewey 41
The Bulldoggers face Salina Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Adair. The Lady Bulldoggers will take on Salina Friday at 1 p.m. in Adair.

Boys: Dewey 69, Sequoyah (Claremore) 57
The Dewey Bulldoggers led 33-28 at halftime and were tighter on defense in the second quarter, forcing turnovers to take the district title.
Kooper Crawford led Dewey in scoring with 29 points, followed by Zach Renfroe with 16 points. Other Bulldoggers scorers included: Austin Eastman (13), Karson Johnson (6), Gage Hawkins (3) and Jay Murgia (2).

Girls: Dewey 44, Sequoyah (Claremore) 36
The Dewey Lady Bulldoggers led 19-13 at halftime and limited the Lady Eagles to seven points in the third quarter to secure the district championship.
CJ Jones led in scoring for Dewey with 12 points. Adrianna Hicks and Kaci Swan added eight each. Also scoring were Cassie Snead (7), Landry Herren (5), Matney Epperson (3) and Chanley Herren (1).

Welseyan Christian Mustangs advanced to the Class B-1 Area Tournament with a 69-53 win over Medford Feb. 21. On Thursday, Cameron defeated the Mustangs 76-63 at Cleveland. The Mustangs ended their season at 22-7.
On Feb. 13, the Lady Mustangs fell to Kremilin-Hillsdale in a close one, 44-39. They defeated Glencoe 66-42 on Feb. 19. Covington-Douglas defeated WCS 61-41 last Friday. The Lady Mustangs ended their season at 17-8.

Oklahoma Union
Waukomis defeated the Lady Cougars 64-23 on Feb. 14 in Waukomis. They picked up a win over host Drumright on Feb. 19, 62-51. Regent Prep defeated them 51-24 in Drumright last Friday. The Lady Cougars ended their season at 5-20.
On the boys’ side, host Kansas defeated the Cougars 53-27. Stroud won Thursday, 62-37. OKU ended their season at 5-21.

Barnsdall
Waukomis defeated the Panthers 86-17 on Feb. 14 at Waukomis. Host Drumright defeated OKU 61-45 on Feb. 19. The Panthers ended their season at 14-13.
On the girls’ side, Wakomis defeated the Lady Panthers 64-23 on Feb. 14 in Wakomis. The Lady Panthers picked up a win over host Drumright, 62-51, on Feb. 19. Regent Prep ended the Lady Panthers' season last Friday, 51-24. The Lady Panthers had a 16-12 season.

South Coffeyville
The Lady Lions won two games in playoffs, defeating Crossover Prep 46-21 on Feb. 12 in districts. Welch defeated them 49-21 the next day in another district battle. On Feb. 19, South Coffeyville defeated host Webbers Falls 51-40 in regionals and then fell to Union City last Friday, 61-37 in Varnum. The Lady Lions ended their season at 12-15.
The Lions fell to Welch in districts at Crossover Prep, 56-33, and ended their season at 4-18

Medford defeated the Hornets (9-10) 63-44 on Feb. 12. Glencoe defeated the Lady Hornets 50-32.
