Following are summaries of Bartlesville's games against Capitol Hill on Tuesday:
Boys: Bartlesville 74, Capitol Hill 37
The Bartlesville Bruins boys' basketball team secured its second win against Capitol Hill, this time on the road, 74-37. Capitol Hill kept up early, but the Bruins pulled ahead after halftime.
Trae Collins and Luke Massey led the team with career-high 24 points each, while Dennis Duncan achieved a career-high nine rebounds. The Bruins, coached by Jake Christenson, are now 8-14 for the season.
On Friday, Bartlesville seniors will be honored during senior night against Stillwater (6-13). In their last meeting, Jan. 16, Bartlesville lost by just nine points, 69-60.

Girls: Bartlesville 63, Capitol Hill 12
Senior Lady Bruin Sami Sheaffer reached her 1500 career point milestone in the first quarter with a two-point lay-up in Tuesday’s game at Capitol Hill. While Bruin fans were hoping she’d earn those points at last Friday’s home game, coach Justyn Shaw called a time-out, and Sheaffer was honored for her achievement.
The Lady Bruins (13-8) went on a 25-0 scoring frenzy in the first quarter to take down Capitol Hill 63-12. In their last meeting in Bartlesville on Jan. 13, the Lady Bruins won 76-3
Next up, seniors will be honored on Friday when Stillwater invades Bartlesville. The Lady Bruins will be looking to avenge Stillwater’s 41-38 win Jan. 16 on the Lady Pioneers’ court. This is an important game, as Bartlesville is one game back of fourth in the district.
