BARTLESVILLE AREA SPORTS REPORT
The following is a summary of last Friday night's area football action. We'll have a more detailed report as soon as possible.

BARNSDALL 37, NOWATA 36
Nowata and Barnsdall clashed for three and a half hours in Barnsdall, with the Panthers edging the Ironmen 37-36. Barnsdall jumped out to a 19-0 lead, but Nowata found its offense to take a 20-19 halftime lead. Tripp Barbee's reverse run into the end zone sealed the win for Barnsdall in the final minutes. Earlier, Nowata's Asiah Saxton scored for the Ironmen. Barnsdall improves to 3-0 and hosts Fairland in district play on Friday. Nowata (0-3) hosts Caney Valley (0-3).
CANEY, KS 22, NEODESHA 6
The Caney Valley Bullpups downed rival Neodesha 22-6 at home. The game was tied 0-0 at halftime, with Neodesha scoring early in the third quarter. The Bullpups' offense took off after that and never looked back. Caney Valley is 3-0, and Neodesha is 2-1. The Bullpups host Christ Prep Academy on Friday.
COPAN 56, BLUEJACKET 6
Copan improved to 3-1 with a 56-6 win over visiting Bluejacket. The Hornets have won three games by nearly 50 points each. Next up, Copan hosts South Coffeyville on Friday.
COLLINSVILLE 47, BARTLESVILLE 27
Bartlesville fell 47-27 to Collinsville on the road. Bruin quarterback Michael Kent threw for over 375 yards and three touchdowns, adding over 80 rushing yards. Receiver Harrison Ketchum gained nearly 175 yards. The Bruins begin district play hosting Sand Springs on Friday.
PAWHUSKA 44, WOODLAND 12
Pawhuska remains undefeated after defeating Woodland 44-12 at home. The Huskies average 53 points per game. Pawhuska travels to Oklahoma Union for a district matchup on Friday.
CLEVELAND JAYVEE 10, CANEY VALLEY 0
The Caney Valley Trojans fell 10-0 to the Cleveland Jayvee on the road last Thursday. The Trojans travel to Nowata for a district game on Friday.
