BARTLESVILLE AREA SPORTS REPORT

From Collinsville to Independence, Kansas, from Coffeyville, Kansas, to Barnsdall, and throughout the Bartlesville area, Bartlesville Gymnastics has helped children grow through gymnastics for 60 years. The club will start its 60th competitive season with a home meet Nov. 21-22 at the historic Adams Gymnasium in downtown Bartlesville.

The 60th-season roster includes both first-time and experienced competitors. The club has three competitive girls' programs for gymnasts from beginner to advanced: Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), USA Gymnastics Xcel and USA Gymnastics Optional.

The AAU program is the beginning competitive team at Bartlesville Gymnastics. It focuses on basic skills and routines that help gymnasts build strength, timing and rhythm before moving on to more advanced skills. As gymnasts move through the levels, they build confidence, improve their technique and presentation with coaching, and learn to perform in front of judges and crowds.

The Bartlesville Gymnastics AAU roster includes both first-time competitors and gymnasts with up to three years of competition experience. The 2026-27 AAU roster includes:

  • AAU Level 1: Laia Montana, Gracen Lamb, Mollie Speirs, Chloe Anderson, Charlie Winkelhake and Gianna Williams

  • AAU Level 2: Willow Burris, Ra’Mya White, Kate Robertson, Juliet Gibbs, Scarlett Edwards and Olivia McCune

  • AAU Level 3: Leah Harms, Kaitlyn Taylor, Harper Martin, Ellie Oliver, Kierra Calvert, Olivia Durant, Maci Jernigan, Snow Ewing, Hailey Rhodes, Josie Barcus, Landri Downing and Aurora

New AAU head coach Krysta Gilmore said she is excited to see the athletes compete.

“I am incredibly proud of the hard work and dedication these girls have put in since May,” Gilmore said. “We have several new gymnasts who are excited and ready to step onto the competition floor and show off the skills they’ve worked so hard to learn. I’m looking forward to watching each athlete grow, not only in their skills and abilities, but also in their confidence. My goal this season is for every gymnast to believe in herself, embrace new challenges, and recognize just how far hard work can take them! I can’t wait to see what this season has in store for these girls.”
