AREA STATE TRACK: Athletes earn more than 30 medals; Dewey's Londyn Bond lone champion
Dewey High School brought home a host of medals from the recent state track meet. The following is hopefully a complete list of all area local school results.

BARTLESVILLE AREA SPORTS REPORT
Area high school track teams did some heavy hauling of ore from last weekend’s Class 3A and 2A track meets.
Dewey tracksters brought home eight medals from individual events — led by thrower Londyn Bond with the area’s only state championship (girls shot put).
Dewey’s Keidon Holt grabbed a pair of silver medals (boys 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles). The only other area prepsters to mine silver were Dewey’s Camrin Jones (girls high jump), Pawhuska’s Tripp Walker (boys high jump) and Dewey’a Lacey Nichols (girls discus).
Earning bronze awards in individual competition were Pawhuska’s Brooklyn Miles (girls 200m dash), Dewey’s Kyla Overton (girls shot put) and Oklahoma Union’s Jensen Anderson (boys high jump).
Several area relay teams finished between fourth and sixth.
Dewey competed in the Class 3A meet while Pawhuska, Caney Valley, Oklahoma Union and Nowata battled in the Class 2A competition.
Wesleyan Christian School qualified sprinter Kaden Week for the Class A meet. He finished in the top 13 in both the 100m and 200m dashes.
Dewey girls finished seventh out of 37 girls teams in 3A. In the boys division, Dewey earned 14th out of 31 teams.
Pawhuska girls landed in seventh out of 39 girls teams in Class 2A. Oklahoma Union came in 28th.
In the 2A boys realm, Oklahoma Union came in sixth out of 42 teams while Pawhuska registered 25th place.
