There’s nothing blocking Bartlesville from reaching the top of the high school slowpitch softball mountain but itself.

The Lady Bruins (30-9) are one of eight teams in the final field of the Class 6A state championship tournament, set for next week.

Bartlesville — which is coached by Kyle Minton — secured its state tourney reservation by sweeping through Thursday’s regional tournament.

Following are more details.

BARTLESVILLE 10, DEER CREEK 3 — Bartlesville put up a four-spot in the second inning and never looked back.

Chloe Robbins ripped a triple and a single and scored two runs to set the pace at the top of Bartlesville’s batting lineup.

Erin Bridendolph added a double, three singles and three RBI in the three-hole while Maddie Czaja added three singles and two RBI. Savannah Alden drew four walks. Other Lady Bruin hitting heroes included Isabell Daniels with a double, single and two RBI and Kenzie Denny with a double and RBI. Lola Redington added a double and RBI.

Karmandy Marsheck pitched the distance in the pitching circle for Bartlesville, surviving 11 walks to squeeze out the triumph.

BARTLESVILLE 4, DEER CREEK 2
— Deer Creek dug deep into the well of its competitiveness but couldn’t douse the Lady Bruins’ momentum.

Bartlesville pieced together  a 4-0 lead through six innings and repelled a spirited seventh-inning rally.

Alden clubbed a solo homer for Bartlesville’s biggest offensive noise.

Robbins and Denny both added two singles; Czaja, Lexi Durao, and Lola Redington drove in one run apiece. Czaja, Redington and Durao also each delivered a sacrifice fly.

Marsheck collected another pitching win, this time on a six-hitter with Madie Nachbor as her catcher. They combined on three walks and two strikeouts.

BARTLESVILLE 11, CLAREMORE 0 — Marsheck snapped off the seven-hit shutout while walking only one batter.

Alden flogged Claremore pitching with two homers and five RBI. Robbins added one circuit clout.

Denny added two hits and a RBI.
