BOYS TENNIS

Bartlesville High School’s boys tennis team earned a net dividend at Monday’s Class 6A regional tournament.

The Bruins qualified five of their six players for this weekend’s state tournament.

Leading the way Monday was Owen May, who won the regional championship at No. 1 singles.

At No. 1 doubles, Johnny Colmenero and Carson Covington punched their ticket to state by finishing second.

The No. 2 doubles duo of Bash White and Mark Shaw nailed down fourth place to also secure their state reservation.
