Shelley and Kelly continue to provide a potent one-two punch for the Bartlesville High girls tennis team.
Abby Shelley powered to the No. 1 singles championship during this weekend’s Muskogee tournament, keeping alive her string of wins.
Sophie Kelly nailed down second place in the No. 2 singles competition.
On the doubles’ front, the Lady Bruins proved to be unbeatable.
At No. 1 doubles, Claire Auschwitz and Ava Kate Craig finished first. Kayleigh Khan and Dani Rodriguez ruled the No. 2 doubles group.
No surprise the Lady Bruins — who are coached by Bryan Reese — won the team title.

BRUINS
Despite a lineup shake-up, Bartlesville still powered to third place in the boys’ tournament.
Only two of the squad’s varsity players competed, with the rest of the spots filled by jayvee players.
At No. 1 singles, Johnny Colmenero pounded into the final and finished second.
Gage O’Brien landed in seventh at No. 2 singles.
The No. 1 doubles team of Karsten Proctor and Eli Burchett dialed into fourth place.
Akshaye Senthil-Kumar and Eric Wu lodged into fifth place at No. 2 doubles.
Reese also coaches the Bruins.
