Owasso swept both Bartlesville varsity soccer teams during the Bruins' senior night Tuesday at Custer Stadium. The Owasso boys shut out the Bruins 3-0, moving Bartlesville to 4-4 overall and 2-2 in district play.
The Lady Rams defeated Bartlesville 3-1. Kinzie Doss scored the lone goal for the Lady Bruins, who trailed 1-0 at halftime despite the Lady Rams controlling possession for most of the half. Bartlesville fell to 3-5 overall and 0-4 in district play.
Both Bartlesville teams next play at Broken Arrow, weather permitting. It will be a tough matchup for the Bruins; the Tigers (14-1) are ranked No. 2 in Oklahoma, with their only loss coming against Owasso, 1-0, on April 2. The Lady Tigers are 8-3 this season. The girls start at 6 p.m., followed by the boys at 8 p.m.
