BARTLESVILLE AREA SPORTS REPORT
The Bartlesville Lady Bruins soccer team (3-2) is off to a hot start, with their first three games in the win column.
On March 3, Kinzie Doss scored the lone goal to help the Lady Bruins defeat Ponca City, 1-0. Next, Bartlesville shut out Will Rogers, 4-0, on March 10, with goals from Khloe Henry, Ryan Kate Carter, Doss and Lily Decker. Bishop Kelley was the next victim, with the Bruins winning on the road 2-1, behind goals from Doss and Mia Grayson.
Bartlesville struggled at home on March 31, falling 7-0 to No. 12-ranked Jenks, which had 30 shots on goal. Mustang downed the Lady Bruins 3-0 on April 2.
Other Lady Bruins on the roster include Emma Kuntz, defender; Bailey O’Neal, defender; Lilly Decker, midfield; Bella Prentice, wing; Itza Almanza, midfield; Maci Alleman, defender; Joley Erne, defender; and Taylor Bradford, defender. Bartlesville is coached by Spencer White.
Next up, the Lady Bruins host Westmoore at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The boys follow at 8 p.m.
