The Oklahoma Wesleyan University softball team is on a three-game win streak, after sweeping McPherson College on the road Tuesday.

The  Lady Eagles split with Sterling College (Kan.) in Bartlesville last Friday.

The following is a closer look:

OKWU 4, McPherson 2: The Lady Eagles struck first with a run in the top of the third inning. Jessica Watson scored on a Destiny Tune sacrifice fly. OKWU would score three more runs in the seventh inning. Saige Lovelle picked up the win for the Lady Eagles.

OKWU 15, McPherson 4: The Lady Eagles took an early lead, sending six batters across the plate in the first inning. Alyssa Olivas scored first off a double by Watson. They added five more runs in the third inning after Laramie Neff reached base on an error. Maddy Wiese led the way with four RBI, followed by Raegan Rector and Watson with three RBI. Taryn Rhodes and Kami Withem both added an RBI. Lovelle picked up another win. Three more Lady Eagles would see pitching duties: Wiese, Mia Van Fleet and Lydia Polk.

The Lady Eagles (32-14, 18-6) travel to Evangel University (Mo.) on Friday for a double header.
