BARTLESVILLE, Okla. — The 14U Top Notch travel softball team and Oklahoma Wesleyan University (OKWU) are hosting a free on-campus softball clinic Friday from 4-7 p.m. at OKWU.

The clinic is a collaborative effort between Top Notch Head Coach Megan Smith and OKWU Head Softball Coach Shawn Woods. The event will feature hands-on skill stations, mentorship and mindset training led by OKWU players and coaches, focusing on developing skilled, confident players with a team-first mindset.

"The clinic is about much more than softball," Smith said. "It's about teaching girls how to lead, support one another and grow in confidence while keeping the team and their purpose at the center of everything they do."

The event aims to inspire young female athletes and demonstrate how faith-based leadership and a team-first mindset can create a positive sports experience. Organizers hope the event will encourage local colleges and travel teams to partner in mentoring young athletes.
