Kalynn Edwards then grounded out to second base, scoring Clark to tie the game 2-2 while Brooks advanced to third.

With two outs, Sharon Brown drove in Brooks with a double to center field to give Caney Valley a 3-2 lead. Addie Daniel followed with an RBI double to extend the lead to 4-2. Brooklyn McCabe capped the scoring in the inning with an RBI single to center to plate Daniel, giving the Lady Trojans a 5-2 cushion. Caney Valley added another run in the fourth inning to seal the victory.
