Bartlesville Gymnastics Club members shine at Oklahoma AAU Advanced State Championships in bartlesville

Local gymnast Annabelle Shedd unleashed a powerful performance to cash in with a state champion and some real cash.
The Bartlesville Gymnastics Club star grabbed the Xcel Silver Senior F All-Around title in the recent 2025 Oklahoma AAU Advanced State Championships hosted by Bartlesville.
Her achievement netted her a $250 scholarship to be awarded when she graduates from high school. It will be earmarked for the college she attends.
Shedd tallied 38.525 All-Around points, highlighted by a first-place score of 9.85 on the balance beam. She also won the floor exercise (9.625), came in second on the vault (9.625) and third on the uneven bars (9.35).
Another Bartlesville gymnast also won her division — Harper Waits scored 38.65 All-Around points in the Xcl Silver Senior B group. She won on the vault (9.675), the beam (9.875) and the floor (9.675) and placed second on the bars (9.425).
Brixley Hayes finished fourth All-Around (37.375) in another Xcel Silver division.
Hayes won on the vault (9.575) and the beam (9.55). She came fifth on the floor (9.25) and ninth on the bars (9.0).
“Coach Sierra Stouffer did an outstanding job with these athletes as this was the first year for us to do this level,” said BGC Executive Director/Head Coach Lorrie Bertolet. “These three girls have exciting futures in this sport. It is always so fun to see how far they go.”
