Perfect again.
Well, perfection is a point of view. But if it means undefeated, the Bartlesville High School swim teams remained unblemished following a tri-meet sweep earlier this week.
The Bruins and Lady Bruins both improved to 6-0 on the season by sweeping their Fort Gibson, Enid and Bishop Kelley counterparts.
Bartlesville boys buried their three opponents by a cumulative score of 306-155. The Lady Bruins swamped their challengers, 400-93.
Chad Englehart is head swimming coach for Bartlesville High.
Following are highlights for each team, followed by the results. (Note: All distances are in yards.)

LADY BRUINS
Veterans Ashlynn Taylor and Anna Young each powered to four championships to lead the Bartlesville assault in the girls’ competition.
Taylor earned her titles in the 100 breaststroke, 100 butterfly, 200 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay.
Young triumphed in the 100 freestyle, 100 backstroke, 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay.
The Lady Bruins swept the championship in all three relays — the 200 medley (Nora Craig, Taylor, Young, Taylen Pratt), the 200 freestyle relay foursome (Karis Shamhart, Daisy Droege, Anna Wells, Taylor), and the 400 freestyle relay team (Craig, Young, Pratt, Droege).
Other champions included: Craig (500 freestyle), Droege (200 freestyle) and Wells (200 individual medley)

BRUINS
Four Bruins surged to three championships each — Grayson Ellis (100 backstroke, 200 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay), Anthony Mann (100 freestyle, 200 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay), Parker Shoesmith (100 butterfly, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay) and Blace Williams (500 freestyle, 200 freestyle relay, 400 freestyle relay).
Just as the Lady Bruins, the Bruins took first in all three relays — 200 medley relay (Ellis, Miles Brown, Aysen Offutt, Kevin Contreras), 200 freestyle relay (Mann, Williams, Travis Lief, Shoesmith), and 400 freestyle relay (Lief, Brown, Offutt, Mann).
