Former Bartlesville High School baseball icon Jakob Hall continues to turn in some strong innings for the Class A Fort Myers (Fla.) Mighty Mussels in the Minnesota Twins organization.

During his six relief outings since the start of June, the hard-heaving right-hander has thrown 8.0 innings and fashioned a 2.25 earned run average (two earned runs allowed).

He has walked only two batters and struck out seven. His pitching record is 1-1 during that stretch.

For the season, Hall has worked 16 games (three starts) with 40.2 innings and 23 earned runs (5.09 ERA). He has walked 14 and whiffed 34 batters.

Hall (6-2, 195) is a rookie in the Twins system. They picked him on the eighth round (248 overall) in the 2024 baseball draft.

Hall put up big numbers on the mound and at the plate for Bartlesville High and also for the Bartlesville American Legion team in summer ball.

After high school, Hall pitched three years for Oral Roberts University. During his sophomore season he registered an 8-3 record and 3.56 ERA in 98.2 innings while striking out 94 batters.

NOTES: Hall’s season record with Fort Myers is 3-1. … In his three wins he’s allowed only two earned runs in 8.0 innings.
