The Dewey Bulldoggers (17-5) were on a six-game winning streak before falling to Victory Christian, 6-4, in a close road contest Monday. The teams meet again in Dewey on Tuesday for a rematch.
Victory Christian scored six runs in the first two innings, leaving Dewey trailing by five after the Bulldoggers answered with a run in the third. Dewey’s bats ignited in the sixth inning for three runs, but the rally fell short. Dewey lost despite out-hitting the Conquerors 5-4.
