EAGLE MEN’S SOCCER

Still unbeaten and on the verge of a postseason championship — it’s good to be an Eagle.

Fueled by Mateja Bozic's magic touch, the Eagles made Evangel (Mo.) disappear from the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference postseason tournament, 4-0, on Tuesday.

Next up, the unbeaten Eagles (16-0-3) advance to the tourney semifinals.

Bozic delivered two goals to spearhead the Eagles’ scoring thrust. 

Adrian Mejia assisted on two goals, while Luka Djurovic and Mihaulio Katanic recorded one assist each.

Marko Rodic played in goal for the Eagles.

OKWU — which is coached by Jamie Peterson — recorded its 12th-straight win. The Eagles are 10-0-0 for October and November.

LADY EAGLE SOCCER

The Lady Eagles host Ottawa University (Kan.) on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in the KCAC Quarterfinals. 

OKWU is 16-1-1 on the season and 13-0 in conference play.
