BARTLESVILLE AREA SPORTS REPORT

Bartlesville High School nearly doubled its win total last weekend.

The Lady Bruins picked up three victories at the Owasso Festival to improve to 8-4 on the season and 5-2 last week.

But, on Monday, the Lady Bruins ran into a buzzsaw known at Broken Arrow.

The visiting Lady Tigers won, 5-0.

Next up, Bartlesville (8-5) — which is coached by Kyle Minton — will play two more games this week.

Sand Springs visits on Tuesday and Thursday’s game against Sapulpa will close out the August schedule.

Following are summaries of last weekend’s contests. No information was yet available for Monday’s game.
