BARTLESVILLE

Head coach: Kyle Minton

The Lady Bruins have arrived at 15 wins.

BARTLESVILLE 11 BIXBY 0:  Erin Bridendolph and Lola Redington each smashed a homer to fuel the offensive assault for the Lady Bruins (15-9).

Bridendolph finished with two hits and four RBI while Redington plated three runs.

Savannah Alden clubbed two doubles and drove in two runs. Lydia Daniels and Josie Childers each recorded one RBI.

Nine different Lady Bruins scored one or more runs; Maddie Czaja contributed a sacrifice hit. Paisley Bryant added a stolen base.

Allison Rosson snapped off the complete-game two-hit shutout with Madie Nachbor as her catcher. They combined to strike out three with no walks.

BARTLESVILLE 6, OWASSO 1: In one of their most significant wins in a couple of seasons, the Lady Bruins rode the four-hitter of Kelsie Yales to the valuable district win on September 11.

Bartlesville improved to 6-3 in district. Yales and her catcher Nachbor gave up four walks and struck out eight. T. Edwards belted a solo homer for Owasso’s lone run.

On the offensive ledger, Nachbor, Campbell and Alden each doubled for Bartlesville. Czaja, Daniels and Nachbor each belted two hits.

Childers, Nachbor and Redington plunked a sacrifice each to fuel the offensive machine.

BROKEN ARROW 1, BARTLESVILLE 0: A dictionary could have used a report of this game (September 9) for the definition of drama.

Broken Arrow won the contest on a solo homer in the fourth inning by K. Harp. That was only one of four hits that Yales surrendered while she struck out 10 batters.

Bartlesville managed just two singles — one each by Alden and Childers — off Broken Arrow pitcher A. Beach.

Czaja added a sacrifice.
