BARTLESVILLE AREA SPORTS REPORT
Area high school football teams take the field Friday night looking to lock down final non-conference victories and build momentum.

Webbers Falls at COPAN
The Hornets (3-0) host Webbers Falls (2-1) Friday at Sheets Field in Copan. The Hornets are trying to carry over momentum from last year's campaign, aiming to host a playoff game for the third consecutive season. They are under the leadership of second-year coach Trenton Kallenberger.

Webbers Falls’ lone loss came at the hands of Quinton, 44-18.

Allen at CANEY VALLEY (OK)
The Trojans (1-2) are coming off their first victory of the season, a 19-6 win against the Mounds Eagles (1-1). Caney Valley (OK) is currently in the middle of a rebuilding phase after finishing 0-9 last season and winning just one game during the 2024-2025 campaign. Operating as an independent program separate from the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association, the Trojans are not eligible for postseason play.

Allen (0-2) is still searching for its first victory after opening the season with a 63-17 loss to Barnsdall and a 41-6 loss to Stratford.

Warner at OKLAHOMA UNION
OKU (0-2) hosts the Warner Eagles (1-1) on Friday for Oklahoma Union's homecoming game. The Cougars are searching for their first victory of the season. Homecoming coronation ceremonies are scheduled to begin ahead of the 7 p.m. kickoff.

Warner's lone win was against Nowata, 28-24. They fell to Sallisaw Central 54-28

Ketchum at NOWATA
The Ironmen (1-1) host Ketchum (2-0) on Friday. The Ironmen got their first win last week at Chelsea. Nowata’s Asiah Saxton had four touchdowns against the Dragons on 14 carries for 315 yards last Friday.

On Sept. 4, Ketchum defeated Chelsea 67-6. They also won their first game against Colcord 20-6.

Humboldt at CANEY VALLEY (KANSAS)
The Bullpups (2-0) look to extend their perfect season and keep their opponents scoreless as they host Humboldt on Friday. Veteran head coach Criss Davis led Caney Valley deep into the playoffs last year.

Humboldt enters the matchup with a 2-0 record following a 32-6 victory against Bluestem and a 42-0 shutout over Eureka.

The Lions (1-1), coming off a 36-32 win over Claremore Christian last week, host Foyil (0-2) Friday.
